This year we are seeing lots of loose, wavy styles that make a statement without the fuss! Here are some trends we are seeing in the salon this Valentine’s Day.

#1 Low Maintenance Buns And Braids

For this client we were able to create a braided low bun. The hair around the face and at the crown was pulled back for a sleek look, while the braiding technique created a chic, but effortless style. This low braided bun is perfect for a special occasion, perhaps a night out at the Symphony or a red carpet event. To achieve this look, we suggest using Shu Uemura’s Touch of Gloss!

#2 Vintage Curls
We are seeing these vintage inspired curls all over the red carpet, but they are versatile enough for your Valentine’s dinner date too! This client’s loose curls were created after her beautiful “bronde” coloring, and the style perfectly complements her shimmering highlights. #4 Braids With BIG Impact
For a bold look, we love an oversized braid! In this style we created for American Idol contestant Emily Brooke we swept the braid around the top of the head and to the side for a look that’s polished, but not fussy.
