Sunday, April 3, 2016 marks the 51^st annual ACM Awards, where your favorite country artists are recognized for the fantastic music they’ve made this year. From up-do’s to polished waves, Style House owner, Lee Wright gives his style predictions for what hairstyles you can expect to see at the ACM Awards this year.

Deep Side Parts

Like Natasha Poly, Lee predicts you will be seeing a lot more deep side parts. Celebrities and artists have been sweeping  hair into a deep side part, and tucking the low end behind the ear. Retro-inspired waves create a flowing and polished look that can’t be beat on the red carpet. Expect to see plenty of this romantic hairstyle on the red carpet next Sunday.

Polished Up-dos

A look Lee is seeing a lot of is the polished up-do. Creating a sleek look with slicked back hair and tying the ends in a tight knot or braid create a dramatic look perfect for the red carpet. Slicked back looks are a perfect fit for the red carpet because they allow celebs to show off a beautiful gown or breathtaking statement jewelry. These polished up-dos, like Kate Bosworth’s, can also highlight a bold lip or smoky eye.

Textured Waves & Messy Braids

Jennifer Lawrence is always on-trend, and this red carpet season has been no different. Expect many country stars to create a textured look with piece-y strands that are low maintenance but still high impact. This textured look is not only edgy on the red carpet, but it is also gorgeous for a date night or special occasion.

Another hair trend Lee is seeing plenty of on the red carpet is the messy braid. Chrissy Teigen is a vision in this example of how a piece-y, messy braid can be elevated on the red carpet with a statement gown and flawless makeup. Achieving this look is simple, and beautiful for a night out, a wedding, or everyday glamour.
